Our client is currently seeking a Poultry Assistant
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Ensure birds have access to fresh water and feed
To observe all hygiene rules, this includes personal hygiene, hand washing, boot dipping/changing and the wearing of all protective clothing
Maintain house hygiene, dusting, sweeping up, friable litter and clean boot dips
Maintain accurate record keeping - house temperature, mortality,
All other general Poultry Welfare
Culling
Successful candidates should have a background in a similar role, or with other livestock and not own, or be in direct contact with other birds
The basic pay rate is GBP8.92 - GBP17.84 per hour. This role will include working every other weekend
