Bowker Preston BMW & MINI require a bright and capable Purchase Ledger Clerk with excellent organisation and communication skills to join their friendly team. Working hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday.

To ensure the smooth running of Purchase Ledger, duties will include:

• Invoice scanning into the accounting system

• Ensuring appropriate invoice approval

• Invoice coding

• Nominal ledger postings

• Reconciliation of purchase ledger to nominal ledger

• Supplier statement reconciliations

• Payment processing including month end payment runs

• Bank statement postings and reconciliation

• Till reconciliations & cashing up

• Liaising with vendors and performing new vendor set up

• Month end accruals

• Expenditure analysis

• Sundry ad hoc requests for senior management

Key skills required are:

• Ability to develop strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholder

• Ability to communicate to colleagues with varying degrees of seniority

• Ability to work under pressure, efficiently and accurately

• Microsoft Excel skills including v look ups, pivot tables
