Due to the continued success and expansion of their solutions businesses, our client is seeking to recruit a SPECIFICATION SALES CONSULTANT to join their team covering NORTH LONDON, ESSEX & HERTFORDSHIRE with a huge emphasis on key strategic business inside the M25
This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of the UK's leading Manufacturers of Architectural Ironmongery, Hardware, Access Control, Security Products and Washroom Products.
Our Client's business is a nationwide, award-winning Manufacturer Architectural Ironmongery solutions to the construction industry, working with architects, specifiers and designers in the private and public sector markets, and are part of a leading multi-national construction supplies group.
Industry Sector: Architectural Ironmongery, Accessibility products, Door Closers, Hinges, Automatic Doors, Access Control, Door Hardware, Ironmongery, Locks, Washrooms, Door Hardware
The ideal candidate will be GAI qualified and very familiar and established with the Ironmongery, Door Hardware, Access Control and associated products and be an experienced specification sales professional capable of bringing, generating and developing on the company's existing strong commercial relationships through the provision of excellent technical support and expertise.
Key Tasks & Activities:
* Targeting key Architects, Designers, Specifiers and Contractors identifying specific projects with requirement details including timescales, alternatives and competition.
* Identify and follow-up with and influence key decision makers.
* Understand project alternatives and value engineer price effective solutions.
* Deliver CPD's to Architects as a way of promoting the company, its products and services.
* Have the ability to cross sell the group's total solutions portfolio and create wider group opportunities.
* Converting enquiries into sales at required margins by working closely with estimators and providing required information to maximize conversion rates.
* Tracking all live projects in real time to ensure they are secured.
* Be a team player, prepared to support other areas of the business as required.
