Are you looking for a role to enhance your skills and expertise? Are you a safety conscious engineer looking to move forward in your career? Are you looking for a company that produces bespoke products giving variety to your work day?

With a turnover of GBP160 million last year, and the aim to grow again this year, this company is one of the largest manufacturers of precast concrete within the UK; enjoying a solid reputation for quality and value; as well as holding a prime market position.

This well-known and respected family run company can manage projects from conception to completion. This company currently enjoys a solid pipeline of work, guaranteeing a high volume of workload for years to come. There is no better time to join this growing and ambitious company with an exciting future.

Your role will begin with training sessions, enabling you to become a competent machine operator in as little as a month. Your role will be operating the roll wire mesh machines in a safety conscious manner, ensuring accuracy and good attention to detail. You'll also be trained up on how to maintain and clean the machine, giving you well-rounded experience.

We have recruited for this company before and all our candidates talk of the informative training sessions that are relevant to all areas of engineering, not just concrete. As well as the friendly and family-owned business, offering progression throughout your time there; including accredited licenses such as forklift or overhead crane.

You must have experience with:

Operating with health and safety in mind
Forklift license preferred but not required
An enthusiasm for learning new skills
Occasional heavy lifting may be required
Previous experience in a construction environment preferred, but nor required
Ability to read engineering drawings
What's in it for you:

A training and progression inclined environment
Treated like part of the family
Opportunity to gain accredited licenses in the trade
Opportunity for a permanent position with a competitive wage
