Jade Stirk is recruiting for a Protein Biologist to join a leading drug discovery business at their state of the art facilities located in Slough on an initial 6 month contract.

Our client is in the business of improving the lives of patients around the globe with a particular focus on neurology and immunology based diseases.
Location:
We are seeking a highly motivated Protein Biologist for an exciting new role based in Slough.
The Role:
The focus of this role will be to apply biophysical methods (e.g. SPR) to rapidly determine the function of proteins derived by high-throughput DNA cloning and protein expression methods.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Practical experience of establishing and running SPR assays.
- Knowledge of both common cloning technologies as well as bacterial and mammalian protein expression systems.
- PhD level, or will have gained equivalent experience in an industrial setting.
