Paralegal / Junior Legal Counsel - Commercial Contracts
We are recruiting for a Paralegal / Junior Legal Counsel to join our UK Legal team to provide support with contract administration. This is an exciting opportunity to gain commercial legal experience whilst developing your skills in reviewing, drafting and amending legal documents.

The Paralegal / Junior Legal Counsel - Commercial Contracts Opportunity:
In this role you will report directly to the General Counsel whilst working closely with our in-house Legal Team.
You will be ambitious, driven and actively work towards building your caseload as your experience within the team grows. Given the nature of the role, you will have strong attention to detail to ensure that you are confident drafting and negotiating simple commercial agreements.
Previous Commercial law experience would be beneficial and an ability to organise your own workload despite changing priorities is essential. If you are looking to develop your legal skills within a fast-paced environment, then we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Review and interpret contracts and other legal documents
+ Process documents for signatures
+ Drafting documents using in-house templates
+ Managing contract registers
+ Conduct legal research
+ Amend legal documents as necessary and provide comparisons of changes
+ Tracking outstanding legal items for the team
+ Scanning, filing and organizing documents in electronic/ physical filing system for team members
+ Providing general support on an as-needed basis
Skills & Experience:
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
+ Ability to be flexible to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
+ High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and good analytical skills
+ Ability to build effective relationships both internal and external
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of Adobe Pro
+ Ability to work both independently and within a team
+ Experience working with DocuSign
+ Law degree or alternative legal qualification including the Legal Practice Course is desirable
+ Previous experience as a paralegal would be advantageous
+ Experience working in a corporate legal setting would be advantageous
Location: Based from our UK Headquarters at Wisborough Green, Billingshurst RH14 (Guildford 30 minutes, Horsham 20 minutes).
Hours: 9.00am to 5.30pm / Monday to Friday. (37.5hrs per week)
Salary: Up to GBP30,000 depending on experience.
