TSA have been requested to recruit a critical role in Tameside for a Supervising Maintenance Engineer to operate within the Education.
This is an opportunity to join one of the UK's largest total FM providers, with the company worth over GBP200 billion, with 500,000 people employed around the world. This role offers long term security with one of the key players in FM and as such will offer respectable salary.
We are looking for M&E Engineer to carry out compliance checks within schools across Greater Manchester. The successful individual will check for compliance certification for F-gas, legionella, electrical, mechanical etc.
We will ideally be looking for candidates who are qualified within the building services sector either mechanically or electrically, ideally you will be self-sufficient and comfortable managing your own workload
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the reactive and planned maintenance to the sites
Responsible for the development and implementation of line improvements
Be required to work closely with management to ensure targets are met on safety, output, quality, efficiency, energy and waste.
Be involved in any new installations, and would be expected to communicate with the Engineering Manager on all production and engineering issues.
Be in charge of pro-active and reactive maintenance activities across a wide variety of automated production equipment.
Taking care of the new improvement projects and installations of new equipment.
Support capital projects to integrate new equipment and refurbishments
Liaise with the Engineering FLM to ensure departmental KPIs and factory targets are met.
Use CMMS to manage daily work activities.
Input ideas and take an active role in team briefings and communication meetings.Relevant Qualifications:
Multiskilled engineer
Recognised Engineering apprenticeship minimum NVQ 3Salary: 30k
