Principal Transport Planner
South East of England
6 months

I am working exclusively with a Local Authority client based in the South East of England is looking to bring on an experienced Principal Transport Planner for the councils growing infrastructure developments.
You will report directly into the Head of Planning and Development to work on a variety of large-scale Transport planning applications along with the development of the council's town centre.
Main experience required:
* Effectively speaking to colleagues, peers and residents regarding planning matters
* Negotiating general planning applications
* Providing technical advice about infrastructure/highway matters for example roads, cycle paths, lighting, bus stations etc
* Acting as a senior lead on large mix-use residential schemes
The ideal candidate would have worked within a Local Authority setting, also a relevant RTPI qualification is required.
Next steps:
The role will be for 6 months whilst my client undergoes their permanent recruitment. You will be entitled to 1 day of remote working business dependant, interviews will be conducted in the next two weeks.
