Machine Minder - Production Operator

Our client manufactures plastic products for major retailers and distribution firms across the South East. For more than 15 years MAS have been there preferred recruiter for all Temporary and Permanent staff.
As machine minder your role will be to fill and set up production machines for a manufacturing run with basic materials, along with programming the production run, reviewing products, completing reports and assisting in the packing of the finished order.
They operate a 45 hour week in a busy workshop manufacturing facility with heavy industrial machinery. Working in a busy team of appx 30 you will be trained if necessary, although some experience would be useful and an Engineering qualification an advantage.
Hours of work 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday - A temp to Perm assignment is available at the outset for candidates seeking a permanent role rather than temporary assignment, subject to availability.
