Extraordinary is our clients’ ordinary.

They are the makers.  Bring them your ideas, your designs, your dreams, and they will build them.

They believe that having so many capabilities under one roof gives them a control and adaptability throughout the production process that cannot be matched by any other provider.

With over 12,000 square metres of space at their facility in Tockwith, they have the ability to deliver projects at a broad range of scale. At the heart of this operation are three hangars that provide them with the space to innovate, experiment and manufacture. From a single circuit board to a 42m scenic icebreaker, their production facility is the environment in which ideas are brought to life.

With this in mind, they are now looking to recruit a Production Manager to join them to ensure that their manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently and that project requirements are met.  Specifically, you will guarantee that projects are delivered on time, in full, to the required quality whilst adhering to all H&S standards.

Working closely with all Production Departments, you will implement production schedules and assess project and resource requirements to highlight any issues; re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary and advising on construction methodology if not practical or achievable.

With a good standard of education and knowledge of construction methods in a broad range of sectors, the successful candidate must be capable of leading a team, solve problems and communicate effectively with a wide range of people.  You will have experience of working to varying production deadlines and changing specifications, of leading a team and must be capable of adopting new ways of working.

Knowledge of a range of disciplines (wood work, metal work, paint, CNC machining) would be beneficial but not essential, as long as you are capable of understanding the processes and identify problems.

Working hours: 7.30-4.00pm (40 hours) with overtime (predominantly Mon-Fri, but weekend work may be required during busy periods.) Time and half will be paid after 40 hours or for Saturday work.
