Rare opportunity for a professional Trainer to step into a newly created Training role with an international Travel Agency in London.

Purpose of the role:

You will be responsible for identifying staff training and development needs, and for planning, organising and overseeing appropriate training. Training Coordinator is responsible for managing, designing, developing, coordinating and conducting all training programs. Ultimately, the role of the training coordinator is to oversee all professional development at the company.

Main responsibilities:

* Conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed

* Mapping out training plans and schedules, designing and developing training programs (outsourced or in-house) for corporate, HR training and more

* Choosing appropriate training methods per case (virtual, simulated, mentoring, on the job training, professional development classes, etc)

* Set training curriculum on monthly and as needed basis

* Conducting in-person training sessions & virtual training sessions

* Training modules to include proactive Webinars and In-House training sessions

* Recommend operational enhancements relative to improving operational efficiencies and to address industry changes

* Liaising with managers and interviewing employees at all levels to identify and assess training and development needs

* Delivering and overseeing the training of individuals or groups of employees

* Implementing, advising on and monitoring appraisal schemes

* Supervising and monitoring progress made via training programmes or schemes

* Designing and assessing training programme

* Deliver specific training to operations staff including travel systems; Sabre, fares and ticketing, Evolvi/Trainline, including upselling and ancillaries

* Customer service training including email and phone etiquette. How to deal with difficult situations

* PowerPoint and excel training to all departments

The ideal background:

* Will have experience with various training methods, including on-the-job coaching, mentorship programs and e-learning.

* Experience with different projects, like management training and soft-skills development, is also essential.

* Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role

* Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting

* Approachable

* Able to form good relationships

* Effective organisational skills

* Teamworking skills

* Impressive communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
