** Worked with SEN students with challenging behaviour?
Future Education is currently working with a Lewisham SEN School with challenging behaviour (ADHD, ASD, SEMH). They use us as an agency to assist with their supply needs! We are looking for September 2019 supply teacher!
You will be able to build a strong rapport with your pupils. Behaviour at this SEN School can be challenging so it would be beneficial if you have experience with SEMH / ADHD/ ASD / Challenging behaviour. This Lewisham SEN School has been graded Good via ofsted.
The successful supply SEN Teacher must have been observed as good or outstanding practitioner. The client is open to the subject you teach but you wold be available for work in the mornings or short term requirements at the school. Great Senior Leadership Team, Middle managers and staff as a whole at this school is passionate about the education of their pupils.
This is a medium-sized SEN school, so the class sizes are a lot smaller. Pupils at this school react well to an SEN Teacher who is able to build a strong rapport, patient, consistent. Great transport links and in walking distance from the closes train station. Imperative that you are well qualified and have QTS.
* Qualified SEN Teacher SEN or Mainstream Teacher (PGCE/ QTS/ Teach First / GTP)
* Sound & steong knowledge of the UK curriculum (delivering & teaching)
* Good to Outstanding SEN Teacher & Practitioner
* Able to build a strong rapport with your students
* You have experience working with SEN students (ie challenging and emotional behaviour)
* Approachable, Empathetic, Resilient
* In-date DBS with the update service
* Behaviour intervention training is desirable but not essential
* You are available for daily supply, short term & long term roles in September 2019!
