The Role:
The HC-One housekeeping function aims to provide a clean environment for Residents health, safety, comfort and wellbeing. The purpose of this role is to ensure high quality housekeeping services are delivered to Care Home Residents in line with best practices.

The Role:
The HC-One housekeeping function aims to provide a clean environment for Residents health, safety, comfort and wellbeing. The purpose of this role is to ensure high quality housekeeping services are delivered to Care Home Residents in line with best practices.
Responsibilities Include:
- Work with area operational management to implement and consistently deliver best practices in housekeeping.
- Seek innovative ways to promote and improve performance, quality and standards of housekeeping services.
- Regularise communications and attend area meetings to establish effective working relationships with area management and promote their understanding of managing housekeeping.
- Support area management to identify root problems and implement action plans which improve the housekeeping service and delivery to Residents.
- Deliver specialist training in care home Housekeeping to develop competency of housekeeping, improve standards and productivity.
- Support area teams to deliver housekeeping services within agreed budgets for commodities, equipment and labour.
- Be the housekeeping expert liaison and forward contact point for area teams including external and internal inspectors, residents, relatives and regulators.
- Conduct surveys, audits and reviews to monitor the delivery of housekeeping services.
- Provide support in the event of an operational crisis through completion of the remedial action plan agreed with area management.

The Candidate:
- Will hold a BICS or HCA equivalent qualification
- Will have multi-site management experience covering wide geographical region.
- Have experience of managing communications at multiple levels in the organisation simultaneously
