Ready to make your mark with a $14 Billion global chemicals leader? We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join our Operations Team who will report to the Regional Operations manager responsible for our Production sites.

The successful Continuous Improvement Manager will undertake activities relating to Process improvements across the various Operational sites whilst also developing and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement within the functional departments. A flexible approach and travel will be required as part of the role in coverage of all sites within the UK and a Company car will be included for this purpose.

Continuous Improvement Manager Key Responsibilities:

+ Ensure excellent communication and have an ability to turn complex analysis into meaningful strategy, understood at all levels within an organization.
+ Coach people at various levels in CI
+ Work in a structured way with full accountability for task completion.

Key Tasks:

+ Lead CI projects from identification through to implementation – running LEAN projects to deliver improvements that yield measurable improvements in Quality, Cost and Delivery (Process).
+ Identify opportunities for improvement, to provide advanced root cause analysis, and to monitor process KPIs
+ Manage all continuous improvement projects within operations to ensure alignment of activities to business needs including the co-ordination of resources and required support activities

We Are Looking For:

+ Proven Strategy Implementation experience, Change management Facilitator
+ Six Sigma Qualification, working knowledge of DMAIC
+ A demonstrable history of leading transformation projects, preferably in logistics, production and manufacturing
+ Commercial experience with the ability to write compelling business cases coupled with a thorough understanding of quantitative and qualitative analytical methods
+ Knowledge of continuous improvement, change management and Lean principles
+ Previous experience working at management team level
