SEN Learning Support Assistant - Behaviour Mentor
Supporting the class team, you'll communicate with parents and carers ensuring the effective application and control of behaviour principles and practice across a wide range of classes throughout a school, contributing towards behavioural plans.
As an experienced Behaviour Mentor, you must have a track record of working with children showing challenging behaviour, pupils on the ASD or SEMH spectrums aged between 3 - 19, as well as a background in writing and delivering individual programmes (IEP's) and Education Health Care Plans (EHCP).
As a Behaviour Mentor, your role will be there to prevent behaviour developing and utilise your skills as an intervention - a way of enabling learning and development. Someone who is Team Teach trained or has been involved in ABA would have a good background start on this role but this is not essential.
If you are a qualified or experienced Teaching Assistant who possess the skills and experience above and feel that this position is of interest to you, please contact me via the contact details below or apply for this role direct.
