The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Audit Apprentice to join the Assurance and Internal Audit Team. 

The role will support all aspects of internal audits ensuring they are completed on time with the support, development and supervision from senior members of the Assurance and Internal Audit team. As an Audit apprentice you will provide independent, objective assurance and consulting activity to add value and improve business operations.

As part of the apprenticeship programme, you will be required to successfully study towards completing your level 4 Internal Audit vocational qualification. This qualification will be supported via a designated mentor who will help and guide both you and your personal development plan.

 

About You

Our ideal candidate should have Grade C/Level 4 and above in English Language and Maths. A Levels at grade A*- C, or equivalent qualification.

 

Key skills for this role are:

  • Knowledge and experience using MS Office products.
  • Intermediate user of Microsoft packages, word, excel and PowerPoint
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal, including delivering presentations to small working groups. 
  • Ability to organise self and prioritise tasks in a timely manner.
  • Good attention to detail with a high level of accuracy taken to all tasks.
  • An ability to achieve results and complete tasks professionally.
  • A positive approach to working within a team.
  • Proactive focus on identifying and highlighting improvement opportunities.
