This is an opportunity to join HMRC's Enterprise Architecture team where you will be working across one of the biggest IT estates in Europe, supporting a large scale radical transformations that have profound impact both on customers and HMRC staff.
We are looking for someone with design and development background to be responsible for defining our architecture directions and roadmaps. You will support and contribute to solution designs as a subject matter expert on Business Processes, Data, Applications or Infrastructure
You will be involved in proof of concept exercises for new technologies and provide internal consultancy on their potential uses.
Some of the following experience will be helpful:
A broad IT and Enterprise Architecture background with experience in architecting enterprise scale digital platforms or enterprise-scale application deployments.
Experience with one or more of cloud environments and public cloud providers - Microsoft, Salesforce, Pega, SAP, AWS and/or Microsoft.
Authorisation & identity - including Single Sign On, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Role Based Access Control, and Federation technologies.
SAP technologies such as SAP Cloud Platform
Application development standards and tools
CRM Platforms, Workflow Management and Contact Centre applications
Open Source Application platforms
Low Code / No Code application Development on PaaS
Compliance and Risking systems
Decommissioning of legacy systems including migration and archival
Awareness of programming techniques and languages e,g. APIs, SOAP, Restful services, XML, JSON, Java, message routing and queuing technology, Service-Orientated Architecture (SOA) design patternsHMRC are an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity.
