Production Team Leader

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Production Team Leader to join us at our Merton site where you will lead a team, starting and closing the shift if necessary. The hours are 40 hour per week, and it is a permanent role.

As a Production Team Leader you will be responsible for the unit, acting as a liaison between colleagues on the plant floor and the Production Leader. Supporting the production team in delivering an ever-improving customer service experience, you will manage the team, ensuring that staff are correctly placed. Measuring productivity and escalating issues to the Production Leader, you will ensure the workforce plan is updated per shift and will work with staff from other departments.

You will work closely with other Team Leaders at the plant and on-site premises, ensuring team work, respect, honesty and understanding with regards to each other in the day to day planning and execution of tasks.

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of leading a team within a similar environment. With excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate, you will be highly organised and able to prioritise.
