HR & Recruitment Officer - part time, contract.
Are you looking for a role where your talents benefit the lives of families raising disabled or seriously ill children?
One to One Recruitment is working with Family Fund to recruit a part time, contract HR & Recruitment Officer to join their team in York.
Family Fund is the UK's largest charity providing grants for families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people - providing over 88,000 grants and services worth over GBP33 million last year.
We are looking for an exceptional individual to join this small and busy HR team on a temporary basis until the end of March 2020. This is very much a generalist role covering a wide range of HR topics but with a key focus on recruitment.
Attracting and recruiting the right candidates is essential to their success, so being able to write engaging adverts and having experience of the whole recruitment cycle will be a key part to the role. Ideally you will have good knowledge of the different routes to attract candidates, and a feel for what works and what doesn't to enable us to fill posts quickly and cost-effectively.
Thye successful HR & Recruitment Officer will have a working knowledge of HR processes and procedures and, while not necessarily CIPD qualified, you will have the experience to provide efficient, responsive and high quality HR Services to managers and employees across the organisation.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, be an effective team player and have a strong customer focus and commitment to delivering a high-quality and professional service. With the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally, you will be flexible, adaptable and resilient to work demands and changes.
The hours offered can be worked flexibly across the week. In addition, they offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata), competitive salary, flexi-time working, contributory pension scheme and a friendly, supportive working environment.
This post is based at Monks Cross in York.
If the role of HR & Recruitment Officer describes you and your career aspirations, please apply ASAP with a persuasive covering letter and CV to One to One Recruitment directly at the request of Family Fund.
* Salary - GBP26,246 p.a. pro-rated
* 21 hours per week
* Temporary contract to end March 2020
* Closing date for applications is 11 October 2019.
