Prospero Integrated are proud to be working in partnership with a highly successful "Smart Home" technology integration specialists and electrical contractors in their hunt for an Electric Installation Manager. This company aim to make the complex simple by designing, supplying and installing the latest smart home systems, as well as offering a full selection of electrical services in the Residential market.
Overview
Based from the company's head office in Epsom, Surrey, the Electric Installation Manager will ensure delivery to the highest working standard of domestic and commercial electrical & home technology solutions including pre-sales, job estimation throgh to full project completion.
Key responsibilities
* Work in partnership with the Sales & Marketing department to develop business opportunities for the division.
* Attend local networking and chamber of commerce events, and trade exhibitions to help promote the business.
* Attend & manage site and home visits for the purpose of generating estimations for electrical and home technology services.
* Generate all estimations/proposals using company estimation software packages as required. Record all estimations and proposals within the company's CMS.
* Deal with all suppliers for all project pricing and stock requirements.
* Ensure all estimations/proposals meet or exceed the minimum gross profit margin targets set out by the company on a monthly or quarterly basis.
* Initially carry out all installation works on behalf of the company for all electrical installations from 1st fix to snagging & completion.
* Carry out when required home technology installation works based on level of training received for the system requiring installation.
* Develop and manage sub-contractor database to carry out works on behalf of the business when necessary.
* Manage, develop and continue relationships with clients post installation to sell on service support contracts and efficiently manage post installation issues with hardware and software within agreed warranty periods.
* Maintain desk area and office space to the highest standard possible both individually and behalf any contractors.
* Manage allocated area of warehouse in conjunction with the Technical Manager
* Research new potential technologies to be added to the business portfolio.
* Liaise with new technology providers to evaluate their suitability for current & future projects.
* Assist the company in maintaining all electrical certifications and accreditations.
* Acquire home technology certifications and accreditations to develop career in home technology sector.
Due to the travel required within this role, you will receive a fully expensed company car, Mobile Phone, iPad & Desk based PC.
