Experienced Manufacturing Graduate
Location: Edinburgh/Central Belt initially and then UK wide flexibility thereafter.
Salary: GBP25-35K (dependent on experience).
Contract: Full time, permanent.

The Company has recently built on its' success in the paper and corrugated market and diversified into the development and production on Flexible packaging. With more than 10,000 employees across Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, UK, Ireland, Turkey, Luxembourg and The Netherlands, Saica Group has four business divisions: recycled paper production for corrugated cardboard (PAPER), recyclable materials recovery (NATUR), production of corrugated packaging (PACK) and flexible packaging (FLEX). The consolidated turnover of the multinational group is over 3.5 billion Euros.
About the opportunity
• Be an integral part of the Project team working on our planned major investment of a totally new corrugated plant in Scotland.
• Then moving onto other UK & Ireland based major investments before moving into an Operations management leadership role at one of our 15 Pack plants, or one of the other 3 business divisions in the UK & Ireland, or across Europe.

• Development will be tailored to your needs and after an assessment could include joining the Group Graduate Leadership Development Programme hosted in Zaragoza, Spain.
What we need from you
Essential:
• University Degree in Engineering or other Manufacturing focused discipline.
• 12-24 months' post-graduate experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment, preferably including project based work (prior experience is essential as you would be immediately involved on the project)
• You will need to be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis
• Fluent English language skills - written and verbal.
• This post will require you to travel across our UK, Irish and European sites so the successful candidate will have no issue with travelling for work purposes.
• A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
• You will also need to have an abundance of drive and energy.
Desirable:
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement tools
• A second European language (e.g. Spanish or French) would be advantageous but is not essential.
