International Case Managers within the International Teams are responsible for managing their own case load of files and providing operational/administrative support to the MLAs/DLAs within the international teams to support the delivering of a world class service to members.

In this role you will advise and guide members through the various processes relevant to their caseload, this could include regulatory, disciplinary and misconduct issues. You will be liaising with members, instructing Legal Advisers and Experts where necessary and exercising judgement to formulate strategies to advise and assist members in some cases.

International Case Managers will be expected to contribute to the ongoing success and continuous improvement of the service provided by the International Teams.

25 days annual leave, plus bank holidaysMain responsibilitiesTo work autonomously on what the business deems as lower risk cases, following regular strategic reviews with the MLA/DLAs to deliver a world class case handling service to MPS members.

Duties include;

Investigating cases relevant to role level, evaluating cases with potential risks to members' professional standing in order to achieve best outcome for members.
Making case handling decisions, knowing when to escalate, instruct Legal advisers etc. Proactively managing a caseload of files.
Develop and maintain working knowledge of expected professional standards.Ideal candidateIn order to be considered for this role you should have previous experience of case/file handling a busy in a legal, medical or insurance organisation.

This is a complex and challenging role, so we will be looking for demonstrable influencing skills, high quality verbal and written communication skills and IT literacy.
