Due to a significant uplift in orders & further anticipated growth in their global market, I have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Administrator (3 month FTA min) to join a thriving business & Team.

You will directly report into the Quality Specialist Lead, with responsibility for the creation of inspection and test plans, manufacturing data, book indexes, and issuance of inspection notifications in accordance with customer requirements. All of which will fall in line with manufacturing capabilities. You will take ownership of the internal calibration system and ensure that all operational items are re-calibrated prior to their expiration in accordance with the quality management systems & process.

Knowledge, skills & experience:

You must hold HNC Qualification, or equivalent level in a manufacturing, engineering, science or Quality discipline.
A minimum two years of job-related experience.
You will demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills engaging with changeable skill sets across the business.

Building and developing winning teams & constant drive for excellence.What will your day as Quality Administrator look like:

Attending sales to project handover / kick off meetings to determine inspection, test plan and manufacturing data book index requirements.
Understand and interpret customer specifications & any relevant changes based on output quality.
Liaise with internal stakeholders prior to completion of Inspection and Test Plans and during their review cycles. Understand the interactions with upstream & downstream processes and its impact on product properties.
Responsible for meeting the critical deadlines associated with contract milestones.
Control and monitor the revision status of Process Documents i.e.:
Standard Operating Procedures
Production Inspection documents, etc.
NCRs are raised for all non-conforming issues in your areas of responsibility
Driving the effective resolution of customer complaints and internal NCRs where required. Participate in teams in the use of established problem-solving tools to drive effective root cause analysis & identification of corrective & preventative actions.
Accurate completion of inspection notification documents in a timely manner.
Assurance that all customer witness visit requirements are effectively planned and executed to ensure full customer satisfaction.
Regular liaison with Internal Stakeholders where required.
Coordination of customer inspections in accordance with production plans.
Monitor, review and amend any plans in collaboration with the production planning department.
Actively maintain all measuring equipment in a calibrated status and manage the business system.
Ensure any non-conformities found during calibration are rectified and any affected product contained.
Leading change and integrate best practice & supporting the management of change process where required.
Fulfilling all duties identified in "The Map" and driving continuous improvement
