Purchasing Administrator
Based in Surbiton. Salary: GBP20,000 per annum.
We are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Administrator on behalf of one of our clients, a well-established organisation based in the Surbiton area.
Person Specification: -
Extensive administration experience
Ability to provide excellent customer service, excellent communication skills
Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines within part of a team
Effective time management and ability to problem solve
Highly professional, presentable and positive candidate
Desirable to hold a full clean driving license
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Key Responsibilities: -
To process all requests regarding product availability, delivery progress options pricing, demonstration requests, daily reports and general enquiries;
To raise orders, ensuring all relevant information is sent to the suppliers;
To progress products on order to ensure timely receipt of stock details and prompt delivery to the customer;
To liaise with the account management department and suppliers to ensure products are delivered to all parties' satisfaction;
To provide support to the Business Development team in the preparation of tender bids and sales proposals;
To monitor supplier performance and report any issues to the Supplier Relationship Manager, attending review meetings with vehicle suppliers as required;
To process related invoices and compile reports as required;
To manage the order process between internal and external suppliers following department processes;
To undertake cross training in other department's processes as required.
To maintain a professional attitude, building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customer;
To act in a manner which is efficient, orderly and timely ensuring tasks are achieved within the set time-scales;
To deal with any concerns or issues that may arise, implementing preventative
improvements;
To attend and participate in such training courses as deemed necessary;
To carry out any duties deemed reasonable over and above standard duties including, deputising in other roles in periods of absence;
Recognise and value the importance of diversity of thought and each person's unique contribution to the team and Company, regardless of the individual's background. Treats all individuals with dignity and respect;
To undertake and complete development solutions as deemed necessary and as required in the performance of the role
