Business Development Manager - Air Freight - Courier - GBP35,000

They are known as the "unsung heroes" within the fashion industry for always making the impossible happen and saving the shoot, runway or project when no one else can.
Specialists in air freight courier services for the fashion industry, they now seek to appoint an outgoing, ambitious, motivated sales manager.
Requirements:
Experience with either Freight sales, or Air freight courier sales
Sales hunter, able to generate own leads and capitalise on new opportunities, winning new business
B2B Field sales experience in logistics/freight/courier
Responsibilities:
Represent company and be out there selling our products and brand
Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations, feed future buying trends back to employers
Open doors and create a large network of customers and leads
Understand the needs of your business customers - being able to find further opportunities with existing mature customers
Build good working relationships with colleges and customers
Research the market and related products
Present the product or service favourably and in a structured professional way face-to-face
Negotiate on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers
Record sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office, or entering figures into a computer system
Review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues
The Package:
Salary GBP30-GBP35K Basic
New Business OTE
