Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer job in Burton upon Trent. Shift: days and nights on 3 week rolling rota

Your new company
This company as been established for over a century and they continue to grow both their product base and customer portfolio so that they are one of the leading manufacturers in their field. This growth has led to increased production at their Burton site so an opening for a Maintenance Engineer has arisen to support the production facility.

Your new role
You will carry out various electrical and mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repair activities on production machinery in adherence to legislative, HSE and company standards.
Your key duties will include:

Carrying out maintenance, trouble-shooting and repair duties across the site in a timely manner
Provide leadership in maintaining plant production capacity
PPM and pro-active maintenance
Responding to breakdowns
Fault finding
Plant reliability improvements
Continuous improvement of equipment, maximisation of production, efficiency, improving safety and minimising downtime
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Maintenance Engineer with mechanical bias and some knowledge of electrics. You will be able to demonstrate relevant experience within a heavy duty manufacturing facility as well as the relevant documentation including an NVQ Level 3. You are enthusiastic and energetic, driven and committed. You can show acute attention to detail and an ability to think on your feet. You are used to working in a fast paced environment where production is paramount and downtime must be kept to a minimum. You have been in your current employment for a minimum of 2 years.
