Sales Representative (New Business - German Speaking)

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, UK

Salary Range: Base £18,000 OTE £30,000+

We are currently looking for a New Business Sales Executive to develop revenue streams from our DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region, with both direct and channel (Value Added Reseller) sales. General duties and primary responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving revenue targets from sales of Act! Growth Suite and other Swiftpage products and services to existing and prospective customers, particularly in the DACH region.
  • Achieves sales productivity KPIs such as talk time, number of dials.
  • Qualifies web and email generated leads.
  • Handles enquiries with regard to product, pricing, order expediting, and customer relations.
  • Handle inbound and outbound phone calls with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Consistently meets or exceeds monthly sales targets by using consultative selling techniques and with effective objection handling.
  • Establishes and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction in all sales transactions.
  • Effectively outbound calls existing and perspective customers.
  • Identifies and maximizes opportunities for customers to grow their business by using Act! resulting in up-sell and cross-sell revenue.
  • Pays close attention to details and accuracy, particularly when processing orders.
  • Ability to learn new systems, for example CRM and order processing.
  • Effectively uses internal CRM and marketing tools to maintain accurate records and schedules of all sales activities and customer communications.
  • Demonstrates a full understanding of current marketing campaigns and offers, and has the ability to communicate them clearly to customers at every sales opportunity.
  • Remains knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments of product lines.
  • Responds to customer complaints in a professional manner; attempts to resolve complaints successfully and in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Maintain relationships with Act! Channel Partners (Value Added Resellers) to assist Swiftpage to achieve its financial targets for the DACH territory, for both new bookings and contract renewals.
  • Assist with pipeline management of channel partners’ sales, order processing and accurate quotation.
  • Commercial support to our Business Partners, delivering timely projects and initiatives outlined by the management team.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and German languages (mandatory)
  • Excellent sales skills, both in solution selling and relationship management
  • Proficiency in CRM / marketing automation and sales management systems, such as Act! Growth Suite, Salesforce.com, Infor CRM, Zoho.
  • Experience working with order entry / subscription management systems like Zuora a benefit.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision / maximum trust and under pressure.
  • Constructive approach to problem solving and consultative selling abilities.
  • Typically, requires 2 or more years of experience within the industry in a sales role.
  • Existing employees must have been with Swiftpage a minimum of 180 days before applying.
  • Ideally, undergraduate level education, or equivalent experience.
