Our client is a rapidly growing manufacturing company based close to both Bristol & Bath. They employ over 100 people, designing, manufacturing and distributing an extensive range of partitioning systems.

Their award-winning products are used in high quality interior fitouts of commercial office space, generally for blue chip clients, throughout the world. This is an exciting time to join the company as it is experiencing a significant level of growth and expansion.

They now have an excellent opportunity available for a Trainee Accountant to join them to provide support and assistance with regard to the financial / management accounts for the business as and when required.

Carrying out the coding of nominal invoices and submission for approval, you will resolve account queries in relation to nominal invoices and carry out monthly reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts including Inventory and WIP and analysis of all suspense accounts.  Preparing Accruals and Prepayments schedules for monthly management accounts and overhead analysis, you will support the update of Management Accounts schedules and assist with the Preparation of budget, actual and forecast overhead information.

With this in mind, they are looking for individuals with great communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships and a minimum of 4 GCSE passes at grade C or above, including English and Mathematics, together with an interest in accountancy.  Numerical and hardworking, you will have a good eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.

Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 (30 minute break)
