Faraday Health and Safety are currently in partnership with a well-known London based demolition firm who have a new vacancy for a HEALTH AND SAFETY ADVISOR to join their team in Oxfordshire.
Our client is one of the UK's leading demolition firms and have been involved in several high-profile demolition projects. Due to recent tender wins, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team in 2019.
Reporting directly to the National Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of health and safety in this company and on site. You will be expected to liaise with project managers, site staff and ultimately influence the safety culture across the site; This includes writing risk assessments and method statements. You will be expected to be well versed in the control of Asbestos and also will be required to consult on other aspects of demolition including dust, vibration and noise control.
To apply for this role, you will need to be tertiary qualified and / or hold relevant project experience. Those with experience with demolition, groundworks and / or piling are encouraged to apply. You will have worked with a civil or build contractor in a similar role.
