Are you passionate about the outdoors, wellness and making a difference to local communities? Do you have the people management expertise and the ability to bring people together to set the new direction of community engagement projects? Are you able to prioritise and see the bigger picture with an ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders?

This is an opportunity to set the partnership strategy of community engagement for a not for profit organisation for London and the South East. As a key member of the Senior Management Team you will manage a team of 9 and report directly into the Regional Director. You will be responsible for the delivery of the following at an exciting time for the Trust where there is a shift towards a more regional strategy. Your role will lead:

Community and Youth Partnership Strategy
Learning and Skills Strategy
Fundraising
Local Events
Expanding Volunteer Engagement
Requirements:

Experience of charity sector, not for profit, heritage or environment, customer focused organisation
Experience and knowledge of delivering community programmes with direct experience of shaping strategies and proven track record of delivering resources from a range of sources.
Strategic partnership development and relationship management.
Ability to influence, persuade and negotiation skills.
Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong presenter.
Experienced at networking and understanding the sector.
Influential
Ability to prioritise always keeping in mind the wider aim of the Trust and the needs of the region - sustainable
