FIXED TERM FOR 6 MONTHS with potential to extend

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 -17:30

Our client is a growing food wholesaler, a business they are very proud of. They are looking for two newly created roles, Quality Control Technicians, to join their team in Cheshunt.

Reporting into the Head of Technical, you will update the on-line system for all products/ingredients to ensure all legal information is correct. You will liaise with supplier to ensure information on specifications meet the requirements of the business.

Your duties will include:

• Complete specifications
• Update the businesses on-line system to ensure information is updated for all products
• Liaise with supplier to ensure that all information required for each ingredient is available for the on-line system.
• Update allergen and nutritional information for all lines
• Complete specification log to ensure all products have a supplier format specification
• Set procedure in place on on-going management of specification system

To be considered for the role, you will need:

• Knowledge of food safety
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Organised and good time management
• Experience in food labelling and food labelling regulations
• Technical background and understanding of food composition and nutrition
• Allergen awareness
