The Role
An exciting opportunity to work for a leading transport/ logistics company in an In-house lawyer position.
This role would be ideal for someone who is already in-house or someone who wants to make the switch in-house into a more generalist role.
This role will be responsible for negotiating, writing and executing agreements, leases and contracts on behalf of the company. Offering counsel on a variety of legal issue.
Role Responsibilities Include
-Information Governance
-Review of complex legal documents
-Company secretarial: managing minutes of meetings, appointment of directors, advice on statutory duties etc.
-Property: review of leases and negotiation of leases
-Commercial: drafting of agreements with suppliers and trade customers
-Acquisitions: coordinating external advice
-Training / educating staff on key legal issues
Skills & Experience Required
3 years post qualification experience
Resilient, with experience working in a fast paced environment.
Ability to be a real team player who can work on their own initiative
Proficient in Word, Excel, Trello, Teamwork, Smartsheets, Visio
