Head of Procurement

An Award winning organisation in the Public Sector is looking for a Head of Procurement in central Maidenhead. There is an exciting opportunity here for Transformational change throughout the business and this role will be pivotol to help drive change. The successful Head of Procurement, will help embed a revised and refreshed procurement strategy across the business, promote best practice and compliance in line with the organisation's values, and to support the Head of Finance in taking overall responsibility for the delivery of effective and value-added procurement.
As the successful Head of Procurement you are likely to have significant experience in:

• Be part or fully qualified CIPS, or have a desire to pursue this professional qualification,
• Have experience of working within a procurement function at a management level covering a broad range of procurement categories
• Thorough knowledge of public procurement legislation and best practice.
