Then please get in touch! Kingston Barnes are currently exclusively recruiting on behalf of an award winning multi-disciplinary consultancy with an established office in Southampton. They provide Building Surveying, Architecture and Project Management services to a wide range of public and private sector clients on projects ranging in value from GBP50k - GBP10m. At present, their Southampton office consists of ~30 experienced consultants who are engaged on a varied portfolio of innovative and technically challenging projects in Education, Commercial, Leisure, Industrial and Retail sectors.
Having recently been awarded a number of major frameworks with some of the most prominent clients in the region, they are now looking to expand their Building Surveying team. You would join a thriving team of Building Surveyors and take a leading role delivering a range of projects for national clients.
Roles and responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
• Contract administration
• Schedules of condition
• Project monitoring and project management
• Part Wall surveys
• Dilapidations and lease advice
• Acquisition surveys
• Boundary disputes
• Expert witness
As a team, the Building Surveyors have secured a wealth of work in the region and due to the structure of the team, there is huge scope to progress within the business; with the option to take on more responsibility, manage and mentor junior members whilst identifying potential clients and areas for growth.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated in Building Surveying or another property related subject. You will have worked with clients within both public and private sectors and delivered a range of building surveying and project management services. You will be working towards full chartership with the RICS and have already started your APC diary.
In return, they are offering a competitive basic salary based on experience level:
GBP22,000 - GBP26,000 Benefits
