You'll be covering all aspects of entertainment, from shopping to food and drink, nightclubs to the biggest gigs and the latest celebrity news, bringing it to life in an engaging way.
Your role will even involve watching telly at work, from This Morning to Call The Cops, spotting those TV moments that everyone is talking about.
You'll be part of an entertainment team working across Devon and Cornwall to ensure that we capture all the latest entertainment news across our three websites, DevonLive, CornwallLive and PlymouthLive.
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for a reporter who loves all things celebrity, TV and entertainment, who knows how to tell stories in words, pictures, video and audio to engage an audience and who has the social media skills that will bring content to life and make it stand out in people's newsfeeds.
Our ideal candidate would have experience in a digital newsroom, would understand how to optimise stories for search, have a keen eye on analytics and uses social media to find and promote stories - getting involved with our communities and engaging with readers.
Our newsroom is fast-paced, experimental and innovative and we need journalists who enjoy the challenge of a truly digital newsroom and embrace change.
We need someone with a real focus on audience, a willingness to learn and a flexible approach.
