We now have an opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance Department in Colchester.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will work with colleagues across the business to achieve strategic objectives through quality financial processes and the effective use of resources. You will ensure that accounting for rent and service charges is completed, assist with the resolution of rent and service change queries as well as prepare financial KPI data for management reporting. Another aspect of the role will include the provision of a payroll service.

We are looking for an astute individual with a thorough understanding of rent and service charge accounting and regulation from within the social housing sector. You will have previously run a payroll function and have strong technical accounting knowledge. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and will be studying toward a CCAB accounting qualification, or significant relevant experience.
