Colne is a vibrant, growing housing association specialising in enabling independent living. As a major builder, we will provide a range of new homes of all types of tenure to meet the needs of our current and future customers in Essex, Suffolk and beyond.
We now have an opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant to join our Finance Department in Colchester.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will work as a senior member of the team and help to achieve strategic objectives through robust financial performance management. You will provide support and guidance to the Head of Asset Management and Investments and deliver high-quality financial management information ensuring comprehensive financial controls are in place. Providing effective financial analysis you will provide reports (including management accounts, financial KPI’s and treasury) that support Colne and Iceni Homes in making excellent decisions.
With a degree or equivalent, along with a CCAB accountancy qualification, the successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of development and competent accounting within the social housing sector. You will have previous experience of monitoring and reporting on development activity in conjunction with Project Managers and will have worked within a complex, highly regulated environment.
Due to the nature of the role there will be a requirement to spend some time working in the Iceni offices in Bury St Edmunds. Your travel expenses will be reimbursed.
