Administrator - Part Time (Contract)
Leicester, Leicestershire

Want to make a difference with an organisation that believes in the potential of young people? If so, this is a great opportunity to get involved with an exciting project that is empowering young people across Leicestershire.

About Us

We are TwentyTwenty, a charity dedicated to building bright futures for young people. We help 11 – 24 year olds who find themselves disadvantaged and disengaged to achieve sustained further education or employment.

We are a partner of the YES Project. Made up of seven youth organisations and charities across Leicestershire, the project supports young people to take steps towards employment.

We’re now looking for an Administrator to join us and provide administrative support to the YES Project. This is a part time role working on a three year fixed-term contract and will be based from our award-winning Lifeskills Centre in Leicester.

The Benefits

- Salary of £18,177 pro rata
- Support the successful delivery of a project that is transforming young lives
- Flexible working pattern

At TwentyTwenty, we think that a great team can achieve anything and diversity matters. As such, we offer a vibrant, engaging environment where staff from a variety of backgrounds are all working towards a shared goal, making this a truly inspiring place.

Our purpose is to support local young people to overcome challenges and barriers that have prevented them from finding a job or seeking further education. In this exciting role, you will help us to do just that.

We believe that young people are absolutely brilliant and deserve all the support they need to unlock their true potential. If you share our ethos and are eager to make a difference, we want to hear from you.

The Role

As an Administrator, you will provide administrative support to the YES Project.

Working as part of a dedicated team of volunteers, teachers, coaches and centre managers, you will:

- Act as the first point of contact within the Centre for all visitors
- Respond to project-related telephone queries
- Liaise with staff and young people taking part in the project to ensure paperwork is complete within set deadlines
- Provide general admin support to the Lifeskills Centre, including some HR activities

About You

To join us as an Administrator, you’ll need:

- Previous administration experience
- Great communication skills
- A meticulous approach to data entry
- Strong organisational skills

IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office, would be beneficial, as would solid maths and literacy skills. It would also be an advantage if you had an understanding of, and commitment to, TwentyTwenty’s ethos.

We’d like to hear from you if you’ve worked as an Admin Assistant, Charity Administrator, Grants Administrator, Office Administrator, Project Administrator, Programme Administrator or Admin Clerk.

This is a part time role on a three year fixed-term contract, working 30 hours per week on a flexible working pattern.

Please note, applications will be reviewed as they are received and we may close this vacancy early should a suitable applicant be found. As such, we encourage candidates to submit applications as soon as possible.

Webrecruit and TwentyTwenty are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment. Equal opportunities are the only acceptable way to conduct business and we believe that the more inclusive our environments are, the better our work will be.
