Graduate Planning Officer

Carrington West are assisting their private sector client based in South West Oxfordshire in their search for a Graduate Planning Officer focusing on a number of new projects (to deliver community facilities, neighbourhood plans, residential development, planning appeals etc) working for a range of clients including private individuals, developers, church groups, charities and local authorities.

The right candidate will need to be able to be in the office 5 days a week and have access to a car and a clean driving license.
Key Duties include;
* Researching sites, policy and local plans
* Writing accurate, knowledgeable and persuasive planning statements
* Submitting planning application and appeals
* Liaising with planning officers, clients and third-party consultants
* Supporting senior colleagues to progress projects from inception to completion
