Due to rapid expansion, this privately-owned reputable property maintenance company, are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager, ideally with a background Building Fabric Maintenance, to join the team and take the lead on a range of projects that will build on this dynamic and successful business.
Specialising in commercial, retail, leisure, hospitality and high-end residential sectors, across the Kent, Essex, Sussex, Surrey, and London areas; maintenance projects ranging from small works through to full fitouts and refurbishments, to the value of £5K- £100K. This new and exciting permanent, full-time role would suit a dynamic and motivated Contracts Manager who can bring in ideas and make this role their own.
CONTRACTS MANAGER – PROPERTY FABRIC MAINTENANCE
LOCATION: Based from the Office in Sidcup, SE London, you will be within easy travelling distance of the M25/ A2. You may be looking for Contracts Manager jobs in the North Kent, London, Essex area, you may be living in Sidcup, Bexley, Swanley, Gravesend, Dartford, Bromley, Kent, Chatham, Rochester, Orpington, Grays, Essex.
SALARY: £32,000 - £45,000 plus benefits, car allowance, bonuses, pension, 4-5 weeks holiday, close to town centre shops and amenities, plenty of free parking, modern offices, career progression.
HOURS: 40hr week, Monday- Friday.
As a Contracts Manager, you will be reporting to the Managing Director and working with a small, dynamic, ambitious team. Primarily based in the Sidcup office, your varied role will be to manage projects throughout their full lifecycle; planning, monitoring and controlling programmes to ensure that schedules and requirements are adhered to and initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and to a high quality.
*Carrying out health & safety risk assessments and writing reports.
*Managing set and agreed KPI’s and SLA targets.
*Overseeing the workforce, managing costings and procurement.
*Occasional site visits, meeting with clients, sub-contractors and remote teams.
The ideal candidate will have a fabric maintenance, facilities maintenance or property maintenance background, possibly qualified in construction / building studies or related industry, RAMS or equivalent H&S training, natural leadership / management skills, strong communication / negotiation skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
You will be a good team player, quick to learn with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, prioritising your own workload to ensure deadlines are met and willing to go the extra mile. Your attention to detail as well as your down-to-earth, positive ‘can-do’ attitude and ability to generally ‘muck in’ as part of the team, will contribute towards a fun and rewarding career.
Your background will be in Contracts Management/ Construction Management. Previous jobs may include Trainee Contract Manager, Junior Contracts Manager, Assistant Contracts Manager, Deputy Contracts Manager, Construction Manager, Property Manager or similar.
