CO-OPTED GOVERNORS

St Martin’s School is seeking to appoint a co-opted governor following the retirement of a longstanding governor. The governing body is responsible for the strategic direction of the school, monitoring that its finances are managed efficiently and effectively and for promoting high standards of educational achievement. The term of office for co-opted governors is 4 years. More details about the work of the school’s governing body are available from the school. Those new to being a governor are expected to attend induction training. No experience of education is required but you should possess skills and attributes that would contribute to the governing body.
