We are currently assisting in the recruitment of a Building Services Manager to lead the Building Services and Infrastructure Team. The successful applicant will deliver the full scope of onsite maintenance repair and project services. You will have the autonomy to enhance further the current servicing provision with regard to the building fabric, utilities, plant along with the delivery of soft services which include food vending, cafe and cleaning.

This role is full-time for a fixed term of 24 months

Role Responsibilities:

* Take responsibility for all planned maintenance and scheduling of works, including ad-hoc repairs and breakdowns

* To lead and plan insurance inspection visits for plant and equipment.

* To lead with the setting and controlling of budget, monitoring spend & raising purchase orders

* Responsible for contractor management and KPI reporting to include people, health and safety and finance information

* To support all aspects of day to day delivery of building, maintenance services and to the site

* Responsible for ensuring all site services security, Cleaning, Health & Safety, Environmental, Repairs & Maintenance, are provided in a timely, and appropriate manner to the highest professional standards.

* Compilation of management information reporting including Financial spend

* To lead the development and delivery of site projects, ensuring budget and schedules are met

* To exceed the minimum legal requirements for HSE within their area of responsibility, and to lead the team to ensure pro active HSE culture is developed

* Work with Safety & Security Manager to define and develop site strategy and business plan for Building Services and Infrastructure.

About You:

Qualifications:

* Professional qualification (i.e. BIFM Level 4, or other technical or engineering qualification) or equivalent demonstrable work experience in a similar role.

* Certificate (Level 3) in Occupational Safety and Health and Tech IOSH membership

Experience:

* Has previous experience of supervising and managing people, projects and facilities

* Able to demonstrate effective leadership, with strong written and verbal communication skills

* Can demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively at all levels with excellent interpersonal skills and of building and maintaining effective business relationships

* Has proven experience in managing third party contractors and suppliers

* Able to understand and work to budgets, whilst maximising value and economies of scale

* Must hold a clean current driving licence
