This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading chilled food wholesaler which supplies to the UK foodservice sector. Now part of a large international food group, the business was founded over 40 years ago and has expanded rapidly, constantly increasing its product range to ensure they remain a market leader and the number one choice for customers.
The job
As HR Manager, you will have responsibility for circa 250 personnel across two food manufacturing & distribution sites and will ensure company compliance with all regulations and laws for the sites and staff.
You will manage employee relations and disciplinary procedures, manage employee development programs, work with department heads on recruitment of new employees, manage HR of both sites with the help of other team members, liaise with counterparts in Europe to manage information flows and data, liaise with 3rd party HR support and keep all relevant company documents and literature compliant.
Your experience
We are looking for a confident and highly organised human resources professional who has a background of having HR responsibility for a large workforce, most ideally within the food manufacturing industry. You will be fully conversant with up-to-date employment standards, laws and regulations and preferably be CIPD qualified. A degree within human resources management would also be preferable.

The HR Manager job is based in the West Midlands region and is paying GBP37,000 - GBP42,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm. You will also be required to travel to Hampshire once a month, for a 1-2 day stay.
