Who will I be working for?

Set within Hope Cove in the stunning South Hams, The Hope and Anchor is the perfect seaside getaway with hotel bedrooms and a self-catering cottage. Open to the public and guests alike, this friendly inn caters for all with locally sourced quality food served throughout the day. We’re now looking for a Sous Chef to join this ambitious and talented team.

What will I be getting up to?

As a Sous Chef, you will join the team at the Hope and Anchor, serving fresh food to those staying at the inn and all passing trade.

Working closely with the Head Chef, you will:

- Run the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
- Line manage other kitchen staff
- Prepare, cook and serve all meals on the menu
- Help out with stock ordering and budgeting

What will I need?

To be considered as our Sous Chef, you will need:

- A Food Hygiene Certificate, ideally an NVQ Level 2 qualification
- A passion for locally-sourced, seasonal food
- Excellent organisation skills

At present, only candidates with the right to work in the UK are able to be progressed.
