THE OPPORTUNITY:

I am currently recruiting for my client based in Harrogate for a Logistics Administrator to join them on a full time, permanent.

This is an extremely exciting opportunity to join a successful business who are the market leader within their sector. They have huge plans for growth and operate on a global scale. Ideally you will have come from a Logistics background either as a Logistics Administrator, Logistics Coordinator, Export Coordinator, Import Coordinator, Export Administrator or similar.

My client would ideally like for you to be able to speak a 2nd language (German or French) but this is not essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Using the management systems to process import and export Customs entries according to Customs regulations and laws
• Coordinating Customs clearance submissions and reporting directly to the Logistics Manager
• Working closely alongside an established team
• Liaising with our Suppliers, Hauliers and Customers around the globe whilst providing an excellent customer service
• Dealing with general Custom compliance queries

THE PERSON:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience within a Logistics / Customs / Import / Export environment
• Have strong attention to detail and be computer literate
• Have an exceptional telephone manner and be able to communicate via telephone and email
• Exceptional organisational skills and can prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment

ABOUT THE BENEFITS:

• Up to GBP22,000 per annum + monthly company bonus. (On average between GBP200 - GBP400)
