Part time Finance/HR Admin • Alcester • GBP11 per hour • Temporary •
Day to Day Duties:
Finance
Processing of Purchase Orders from requisitions, accurately and in accordance with agreed authorisation and timescales
Preparing of Purchase Orders, checking for accuracy and distributing to suppliers and budget holder as required
Processing of invoices, checking to Purchase Orders and goods received notes, ensuring appropriate authorisation and payment in accordance with agreed procedures and timescales
Preparing invoices for cheque run/BACS
Investigating and resolving supplier invoices under query arranging returns and ensuring that refunds or credit notes are received
Assisting with payment runs, including banking
Processing of petty cash and maintain records
Dealing with queries from suppliers (including statements), debtors, budget holders and other school staff
Maintaining high standard procedures and legal requirements at all times
Chasing overdue orders
Assisting as required during Audits
Filing, archiving, photocopying, faxing Etc. Maintaining filing system of financial reports
Carry out additional tasks as required by senior finance staff
HR Admin
Support with the updating of the personnel system (SIMs)
Produce any report and analysis as requested
Carry out and amendments that are required to the Staff Handbook
Support with the preparation of contract change letters
Support the HR Assistant with any recruitment requirements such as preparing interview packs and assist during the interview days
Assist with HR administration and filing
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this Finance/HR Admin role you will need to:
Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at grade A-C.
Working Knowledge of MS Office
Working knowledge of specialist ICT packages, eg finance and SIMS
Highly confidential
Able to communicate and exchange information, verbally and in writing, with a range of audiences.
Can solve straightforward problems. Able to make some decisions involving the use of judgement.
Excellent organisational skills
