Ecologist

Our Client is a Well-Established Ecological Consultancy who concentrate portfolio of projects and work throughout the UK on diverse schemes in a variety of sectors.

Due to an increase in workload they are looking for an Ecologist to join their team in Cambridgeshire.

This will be a hands-on role and the successful candidate will gain experience in all aspects of their projects and day to day running of a thriving consultancy.

Job Responsibilities;

* Phase 1 habitat & protected species surveys

* Undertaking Preliminary Ecological Assessments

* Undertaking Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA)

* Producing high quality written reports

* Assisting on protected species mitigation schemes

* Liaising with project managers and clients

* Supervising field assistants and coordinating surveys

Essential Ecologist requirements;

* Degree educated in a relevant subject

* At least 1 protected species licence

* Demonstrable experience working within an Ecological Consultancy

* Full & clean UK driving licence
