Electrical Project Engineer

Isoma Ltd is a manufacturer of high-quality conveyor, and specialist materials handling systems, for the Food, Drinks & Pharmaceutical industries. We are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Engineer with a sound electrical engineering background who has experience in the field of control & automation systems, coupled with control panel design knowledge. This will be an office based role, working directly for our Electrical Manager, you will be able to produce electrical schematic and control panel layout drawings using AutoCAD.

You will also liaise with our electrical engineering staff and also sub contract supply of panel manufacture, in order to progress our designs through the manufacturing process to completion within timescales. Your duties would also include the compilation of relevant documentation and certification, component specification, B.O.M.’s. and procurement of materials from our suppliers. An ability to introduce an inventive approach to initiating working systems within the department would also be a distinct advantage in this full-time permanent position.

Key skills required:

• Competent using AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.
• A background in Electrical Engineering.
• Project Planning & Management.
• Experience in procurement for control panel manufacture and project labour requirements.
• Experience in producing control panel layouts, electrical wiring/schematic drawings.
• A familiarity with PLC’s (Allen Bradley & Siemens S7).
• Proficient using the Microsoft Office suite of software.
