Entry Level Sales Administrator (Advertising Sales)

Do you want to work for the likes of The Mirror, Daily Express, Daily Star, OK! & New! Magazine and have a keen interest in advertising? Reach plc is the UK's largest news publisher and is home to a long list of household titles both National and Regional. Our commercial team, Reach Solutions, is responsible for securing advertising revenue for our print and online publications, as well as creating unique and untouchable advertising opportunities for our clients.

We are recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join our sales team, and kick start their career within media sales. As this is an entry-level position, previous experience is not required. Instead, we are looking for a candidate who is energetic, vibrant, bright, passionate, creative and career driven.

We understand that progression is key, and as a business we will offer you a genuine opportunity to progress. The successful candidate will be given full training and all of the tools required to further develop understanding and knowledge of advertising sales.

We are Reach because that's what we do.

Reach Solutions is the team that brings together Reach Plc's editorial output with media agencies and clients, to collaboratively create strong connections between our valuable audience, content and advertiser brands. Our role is to connect our advertising customers with 'Modal Britain', the mass majority audience that we best represent, entertain and inform, and on whose behalf we campaign.

Every day our newsbrands - national and regional, in print and online - reach millions of people up and down the country. We are the UK's largest news publisher, with influential national newsbrands such as the Daily Mirror, Daily Express, Sunday People, Daily Record, OK! & New! Magazines and more than 100 distinguished regional titles.

Last year we sold 620 million newspapers, with 5 million readers of one of our brands each month. Our network of over 70 websites provide 24/7 coverage of news, sport and showbiz stories, with 8 billion page views per year.

We average 21 million mobile visitors - that's 60% of the entire mobile market. Each month we attract over 32 million unique visitors. That's more than our competitors. You will help us further increase our digital audience into 2019.

Key Responsibilities

You will play a key administrative role in supporting our sales team and provide an important link between our Account Managers and Group Heads and our clients. You will become an integral member of the sales team by providing support with a variety of duties including arranging and programming of the daily advertising bookings into internal systems and collate sales data which will enable our sales operation to achieve maximum advertising revenue streams.

The Ideal Candidate

As previous experience is not essential, we focus heavily on a candidates individual traits and what can bring to the role. We look for confidence, exceptional team work, organisation and efficiency in everything you do but most importantly, the passion and a genuine interest in working for Reach plc is key.

You will have strong telephone and customer service skills, alongside a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages. You will be adept at working under pressure, enjoy team work, and thrive in a professional yet fun working environment.
