Environmental Monitoring Technician 

Leading Air Quality Consultancy wants to recruit a enthusiastic and motivated individual to train as an Environmental Monitoring Technician. Full industry specific training will be provided (Environment Agency MCerts Scheme). The position would involve supporting the Project Managers to complete emissions monitoring assessments of pollutants from industrial processes. The position requires a full clean UK driving licence as extensive travel, including overnight stays, will be involved.

Normal working hours may vary depending on needs and early morning work will be required, so you will need to be comfortable with accommodating a variable work pattern. Applicants should be proficient in MS Excel and Word applications and be adept at working with numbers as well as people.  The successful applicant must also be well organised, take pride in delivering high quality work, and be able to maintain a positive attitude when under pressure.

A scientific background would be an advantage but not essential, a willingness to work outdoors, specifically at heights is essential.
